Each portrait was painted in a single day live at Storyhouse in Chester March 2023. The Monarch Collection demonstrates how fast and efficiently I can paint a portrait in a single day. Featuring my dear friend Rachel, the concept of surrounding her with monarch butterflies was an idea I had wanted the moment I thought of it. Mainly beacuse I love butterflies, but also because she was about to dye her copper red hair.
